Christie's Inc. requested Séamus Henchy and Associates, Inc. to provide project management for a major upgrade to the base building electrical power system for Christie's Fine Art Storage Services (CFASS). Over two years of planning, design and construction was spent to coordinate and install several underground transformer vaults and to reconfigure the electrical switchgear room to provide the power needed to run and operate the CFASS facility. The upgrade created major savings for CFASS in their operational costs and unlocked the potential to use the entire facility.
