Project: Film Archival & Preservation Center
Location: N.E. Pennsylvania
Services Performed: Project Manager
Architect: Davis Brody & Associates
This project (the first of its kind in the United States) required the construction of two separate buildings to house the Museum of Modern Art's world-renowned and most prestigious film collection. The continued preservation and restoration of the collection requires highly controlled environmental conditions, which were a key part of the project. Since the site partially sits on designated wetlands, we were required to engineer specialized environmental controls such as detention basins to ensure the protection needed.
