Project: Lycée Francais Summer Projects (Multiple)
Location: New York, New York Services Performed: Project Manager Architect: Ennead Architects LLP The Lycée Francais de New York was a three phase project, which was constructed over two years involving a 20,000 SF major alteration and addition to an existing building converted from an old law tenement building to a new school wing. The work involved new classrooms, staff and faculty offices, boardroom, structural and mechanical systems, stairs and elevators, new channel glass curtain wall, media lab, fab lab and a connecting link to the school’s existing building. Additional phases also involved renovations to the existing school building (completed in 2002) to satisfy newly created school-wide programs. |

LFNY is a repeat client of SHA, and has now engaged our team to oversee significant upgrades to their school lockdown interface systems, renovations to their primary and secondary libraries, auditorium lighting and sound system upgrades, and a multitude of other improvements to school spaces such as their school psychologist and college counselor's offices, and student music rooms.
